SECOND WATERCOLOR CLASS, November 13, 2014

SECOND CLASS,  NOVEMBER 13, 2014
The project for the second class was to find the balance between controlling color and letting color and water do their own thing.  The method was applied to the background, by using a strict color scheme (analogous, complementary or triadic) while applying splotches of wet color next to each other.

FIRST WATERCOLOR CLASS, November 6, 2014

FIRST CLASS November 6

For the first class, students experimented with the complementary colors red (alizerin crimson) and green (permanent green light) to create a variety of colors and textures within the shape of leaves.  They then added a haiku on a fall theme.
