FLOWERS LOOSE AND TIGHT, September 22, 2016
Students picked one flower from a bouquet to concentrate on. The project was to paint two versions, one loose and watery, and the second (using a drawing pen) more controlled and detailed.

In this, the first class of this session, students practiced painting a pine branch Asian style with a bamboo brush and black watercolor. They went on to paint a group of pine trees from photos still using only black watercolor
